We recently concluded a fantastic LiSTO.academy On-Site Workshop held at Hospital Universitario Santa María (HUSM) in Lleida, Spain, organized in collaboration with our trusted distribution partner, Dahlhausen Italy. Last Friday, Dr. Peter Widschwendter and his team performed a robotic-assisted pectopexy using DynaMesh®-PRP at the Tiroler Kliniken in Hall, Austria. The surgery was streamed live to 12 different countries and we appreciate the lively comments and questions from all participants.
In November 2024, Dr. Weingärtler led his first international online workshop on CESA/VASA Laparoscopic Bilateral Sacrocolpopexy from Forchheim, Germany. The session saw active engagement from participants across multiple countries, sparking valuable discussions and questions throughout.

Dr. Volker Fackeldey and Prof. Dieter Berger presented three live hernia repair surgeries online to an international audience at the ‘Klinik Kitzinger Land’ in Kitzingen, Germany. The workshop started with two inguinal hernia repairs using DynaMesh®-ENDOLAP and ended with an incisional hernia repair using DynaMesh®-CICAT. We want to thank both surgeons for sharing their expertise and we highly appreciate the interesting comments from the audience which stimulated lively discussions during the workshop.
The first live surgery at the Robert Bosch Hospital in Stuttgart, Germany, was a great success. Dr. Fuchs and his team presented a laparoscopic pectopexy to a selected group of advanced surgeons. We are happy to have him as a new LiSTO.academy trainer in Germany and look forward to the next live surgery training.
Following successful first national LiSTO.academy trainings with Professor Dr. Metin Ertem Acibadem Healthcare Group, we were now able to offer a #MedEd event with live surgery broadcast from Istanbul to surgeons from Saudi Arabia. Congratulations to Dr. Sebastian Ludwig, Head of the Continence and Pelvic Floor Centre at the University Women’s Hospital in Cologne, for his personal commitment and scientific work on the urogynecological treatment method CESA/VASA!
For more than ten years, Dr. Sebastian Ludwig has been working and continually developing the method with the DynaMesh®-CESA /-VASA implants and has perfected the surgical methods in a standardised way with the implementation of the laparoscopic technique LaCESA (laparoscopic bilateral cervicosacropexy) and LaVASA (laparoscopic vaginosacropexy) using the DynaMesh®-IVT02 instruments.
Dr. Sebastian Ludwig has also optimised the implementation of the uterus-preserving laparoscopic surgical method LaUSA (laparoscopic uterosacropexy) over the years.

The first LiSTO.academy Training Centre for PECTOPEXY in Finland will be starting soon! Together with Anneli Linnamägi, MD, Chief of Department of Gynecological Surgery in The Hospital District of South Ostrobothnia – Südösterbotten – Finnland, we completed the first preparations this week.
Annelie has been successfully using DynaMesh®-PRP implants for PECTOPEXY for more than 6 years.
