Training on DynaMesh®-PRP implants, pelvic floor reconstruction, in laparoscopic surgical technique with focus on:

  • Pectopexy of the vaginal or cervical stump
  • Pectopexy – total repair
  • Native tissue repair

Laparoscopic pectopexy has been practiced at Seinäjoki since 2017.
The surgeon is certified as GESEA MIS gynecological surgeon Level II,
IsoN Neuropelveology Level I and MIS Academy Master in Deep Endometriosis Surgery.

The clinic has been qualified as a central hospital training center for Ob/Gyn residents in Finland.
The clinic has long history as a high level vaginal surgery center.
Seinäjoki central hospital is also well known for its innovative attitude and teaching oriented atmosphere.
It is the first center in Finland to implement laparoscopic pectopexy and vNOTES hysterectomy.
There is constant scientific activity in the field of urogynecology.

DynaMesh®-PRP implants have been specially developed for pelvic floor reconstruction, in laparoscopic or open surgical technique, and serve to support and stabilise fascial structures, connective tissue and ligaments.
The implants are used in the surgical treatment of a prolapse of the vaginal/ cervical stump or uterine prolapse in the pectopexy technique.
