Dear Colleagues,

Learn more about surgical inguinal hernia treatment using the TEP technique with the use of three-dimensional PVDF implants DynaMesh®-ENDOLAP 3D.

In this workshop we will broadcast live from our hernia centre Rephael Hospital in Tel Aviv. The focus will be on the presentation of the surgical procedure as well as the discussion of possible pitfalls and useful tips.

The workshop is aimed at surgeons who want to learn these treatment methods with DynaMesh®-ENDOLAP 3D implants, deepen their knowledge and apply them.

The verbal real-time interaction between the trainer and the participants offers the possibility, exchange experiences and ask questions directly and at any time.

Amir Szold, MD, is a pioneer laparoscopic surgeon, trained in surgery in Hadassah Medical Center in Jerusalem and Mount Sinai Medical Center New York. In the late 90’s he was the founder and first president of the Israeli Society of Endoscopic Surgery, and was a board member, and the technology commitee chairman, European Association of Endoscopic Surgeons, a member in the technology commitee of SAGES, and board member, Israeli Society of Surgeons. He currently serves in the steering commitee of ISMIT and an editor of MITAT.
Dr. Szold has publishes over 100 papers in peer reviewed journals, presented hundreds of presentations in international congresses, and performed many international live-surgery workshops.

Dr. Szold is heavily involved in medical innovation. He is the founder, advisor and board member in muliple medical device startup companies in Israel and Europe, covering fields of 3D vision, robotics, soft tissue replacements, surgical glues, laser technology, smart materials and laparoscopic devices. He is a member of the lucrative 8400 Health Network, the founder and medical director of Assia Medical Group in Tel Aviv, and the co-founder and current advisor of the physicians for Human Rights Volunteer Clinic for illegal immigrants and refugees, Tel Aviv, Israel.
