IPOM – Modern treatment of complex hernias (#FL185)

Dear Colleagues,
Primary and secondary ventral hernias up to sizes W2 can be treated by techniques like MILOS, EMILOS, e-TEP. Laparoscopic IPOM repair is still a valuable alternative in recurrent hernias after extraperitoneal repair or in patients prone to postoperative wound complications.
At this online workshop we will be broadcasting live from the Hernia Reference Center Marienhospital Düsseldorf in Germany.
The focus will be on the presentation of surgical procedures as well as the discussion of possible pitfalls and useful tips.
Furthermore the unrivalled advantage when using elastic implants made of PVDF will be clearly pointed out by Professor Dr. Bernd Klosterhalfen.
At the end we would like to discuss our standardized procedure with the participants.
The verbal real-time interaction between the trainer and the participants offers the possibility, exchange experiences and ask questions directly and at any time.
The online symposium is aimed at surgeons who want to learn these treatment methods with DynaMesh®-IPOM implants, deepen their knowledge and apply them.
